Best of the Web

It’s that time of the month again…

…time to release another jam-packed Best of the Web. It seems like these things just keep getting longer and longer. There is so much valuable content out there right now that we can’t even include all the great things we see and hear.

This month we have a pretty wide range of articles from Gamification, to Self Publishing, Affiliate Marketing and the Audience Business Masterclass. Here at Firepole Marketing we have been spending a lot of time of all of these topics, and so has the rest of the web.

Its nice to see such a perfect alignment of content between ourselves and the web this month, I hope you make some of your own connections from these great articles…

With the end of the year slowly creeping up on us, we’re getting *very* excited about what’s coming in 2013.

We’ve been doing a lot of planning for the future, and we’ve also managed to squeeze in some great features this month, including: an amazing podcast interview featuring book launch advice from Tim Ferriss, a Project ABC Update, tons of webinars, and a handful of guest posts, too.

Now that November is nearly over, work days are becoming shorter and productivity can feel a bit stunted – so this month’s Best of the Web is meant to jump-start your productivity for the final sprint until the (brief but) calm repose of the holidays…

So dive in, enjoy, and hang in there – the holidays are coming!

Maybe it’s because ‘time flies when you’re having fun’ – and probably all the more because we have been busier than ever – but boy, summer certainly flew by for us here at Firepole Marketing!

With new projects and features on the blog and even a brand new podcast, we’re hard at work bringing you fresh and exciting content, and we even have a few tricks up our sleeves for the months to come.

For a lot of people, September represents a new beginning: time to ship the kids back off to school and re-enter the cycle of projects and productivity at work.

This month, we found this sentiment reflected in the blogosphere. We read a lot of articles centered on motivation and productivity, as well as cautionary and inspiring stories of new beginnings.

This month for our Best of the Web feature, we’ve got some great stuff for you, that we hope will inspire you to get motivated and get back into the flow of things.

It’s hard to believe summer is already coming to an end – or that this crazy Montreal heat wave will ever break.

July has been a really exciting for us at Firepole Marketing; I started working on the new Naked Marketing book, celebrated my birthday, and got my first guest post on Forbes! (I’m still super stoked about that!)

We’ve also spent some time brainstorming some very interesting things you should be on the lookout for in the future – there are going to be some really amazing things coming your way!

In the meantime, though, I’d be remiss if I didn’t notice that it’s been an exciting month for the rest of the blogosphere too, with tons of amazing posts on a huge array of topics. This is one of our biggest Best of the Web features we’ve had in a long time!

Can you believe it’s June already?

The last few weeks have been pretty crazy for me, because at the end of May (as you hopefully already know), I launched my biggest, most ambitious (totally free) project yet to date.

It was the Naked Marketing Manifesto, and it’s absorbed almost all of my time over the last few weeks.

And yet, as seems to always be the case no matter how busy I get, the blogosphere didn’t stand still.

While I was out promoting the manifesto, some amazing stuff has been written and posted. I may  not have been quite as visible on quite as many blogs as I usually am, but I’ve still been lurking, watching, and reading.

And today, I’d like to share with you some of the best things I’ve seen over the past month (and the story of how I got the name “Danny Iny The Teaching Warrior Monk”, and have this cool cartoon illustration done!)…
