Another month, and another Best of the Web round-up!
The last month has been really intense – between all the content that we’ve run on the blog (which is a lot), the webinars that I’ve been doing for our wonderful partners (over a dozen of them), and the interviews that I’ve been asked to participate in, it’s been crazy.
And on top of that, there’s my super-secret new project that I’ll be releasing to you (for free!) at the end of the month!
So yeah, it’s been busy, and it’s been hard to keep up with the rest of the blogosphere.
But just because I’m busy doesn’t mean that the blogosphere has shut down – not by a long shot!
So here are some of my favorite posts, articles and exciting other pieces of content from the last few weeks…

Great roundup Danny!
I need to bookmark this page and read it over the weekend. I guess that’s the most peaceful time for me to go through such a wonderful list.
Thanks for sharing
Hey Harleena, I do the same thing – a chunk of my weekend goes to catching up on everything that I’m feeling a little behind on.
Thanks so much, Danny, for including me in your list, and for providing LOTS of great reading for me to tuck into. Cheers! Kaarina
You’re very welcome, Kaarina, on both counts!
Hahahaha… oh man, these lists always open up my horizons to so much goodness going on in the scene.
What a great service, truly.
Thanks for taking the time to put these together, Danny. You could probably do a post ABOUT posts like this: They help the community, connect one-another, demonstrate your involvement, keep you in touch with the community and the scene, and more.
I’m also thrilled to in one way or another, have made it onto this post 3 times lol
http://ryzeonline.com/mystery-non-smoking-smoker – Alden Tan’s guest post on Ryze.
http://www.logallot.com/bloggers-sh-tty-friends/ – Sonia hosted this very discussion-focused post
http://www.onespoonatatime.com/the-hero-in-question-on-video-guest-post-by-jason-fonceca – Which is all about Danny
Seriously a feather in my cap, and a smile on my face.
I think three times in one list is a first for us – you should be very proud, Jason. You’ve been working your ass off writing amazing stuff and delivering tons of value to everyone you get near – it’s appreciated!
Haha! A first for all of us then, and it feels great to be proud of something. I wish everyone feels proud of their stuff
Thanks so much man, I’m really honored to be recognized.
It’s funny, I’ve written a whole bunch more, waiting on approval from host blogs.
Maybe I’ll start putting a time limit on ‘em, and if they don’t publish my awesomeness soon, I’ll shop it around to others. I’m psyched for them to be shared with the world.
As for delivering value to anyone near me, I’ve done that my whole life, even when I was ignored for years
I’ve been called a “walking goldmine” and a “fountain of value”, maybe I should start a wall
Woo Hoo – made the list again! Thanks Danny
Can’t wait to check out the other ones.
There’s some real gems on the list, Steve. Enjoy them!
Wow. This post is like drinking from a firehose.
Haha, no pun intended, right?
Nice round-up Danny. Now you have me angling to get on your next one!
Hey Tom, just keep doing what you’re doing, and send me a heads-up when it’s particularly awesome.
Nice list, thanks for share Danny
You’re welcome, Trung.
Danny,
Nice to be on the list again – thank you
Cheers,
Timo
I should be thanking you, Timo, for inviting me to do the interview!
Love your round up Danny! Bookmarked for future reading, and thanks of course for including me! I owe you an email…I’ve been absolutely swamped with work.
Hey Ruth, thanks. Yeah, no worries – shoot me an email whenever you have a chance to dig yourself out. Hmmmm… it just occurred to me… aren’t you in Toronto?
Yup – you headed to my neck of the woods?
Yup, speaking at SES at the beginning of the week of the 11th. Maybe we could find some time to get together?
Wow, it doesn’t get more thorough than this! Great collection of resources. Will be sharing this with my LinkedIn group Small Biz Forum, and have a lot of reading to do!
Thanks, Josh, I’m so glad you found it valuable.
Hey Danny, What a packed list! An honor to be part of it
My hats off for taking the time and effort it to put all this gems together.
Plus, it’s loaded with great headlines we could all use for inspiration.
Now that’s a GREAT idea, Allan. Thanks for sharing it here!
ummm want to know what’s the most impressive? None of these actually. What I’m finding difficult to wrap my brain around is this: How in the name of heaven do you do 10 webinairs, check all those guest-posts that have to be published (or not), write your own content (even writing like Freddie take a little time), run a company, coach, be a family-man, check mail, deal with auto-responders, whew! My head is spinning just trying to keep up. Now we see a post with curated content consisting of .. not 5 posts, but 35! If only one out of 5 posts in quality blogs are outstanding, that means Danny, that you read about 165 blog posts! I’m no slouch when it comes to work-ethic, but are you some kind of prodigy or something? Durn!
Haha, thank you, Rodney, you’re too kind.
When you list it all out like that, it really does seem like a lot, doesn’t it… but it doesn’t feel like all that much when I’m in the thick of it just getting stuff done. I try not to think about how much work it really is – it distracts from it all!
There you have it then…a glimpse at what it takes. We all know deep down, from being more productive under pressure, that we are capable of far more than we care to admit. For the entrepreneur, work is optional… but so is success I guess. There is a tendency to stop and be too awed by the sheer volume of the thing. You’re kind to call it a distraction. I think it boarders on self-sabotage… but that might be just what the subconscious goal was in the first place. I mentioned not being a slouch, but living up to potential means we pretty much have to have a similar schedule to what you’re doing. THAT’s what I’m really running from if I’m honest with myself.
I’m coming face to face this theme over and over as I contemplate starting my new blogs. Steve Baines touches on it in one of the above posts. And I heard you and Timo Kiander delve into it in a recent interview. Sometimes a big part of needing a coach is to have someone to use for being accountable to… because we still have 9-to5 mentality. I’m writing this and I’m thinking maybe its time to stop being satisfied with “having limitless potential.” Been hearing that all my life and it doesn’t cut it any more.
Thanks Danny. Your curt little answer is a case of less being more. I appreciate you.
I really like the way you put that, Rodney: “for the entrepreneur, work is optional… but so is success I guess” – I love it!
You know what, though, the truth is that yes, and no – you don’t necessarily have to work as hard as I do, and definitely not for as long as I have – it all depends on what your goals are.
The truth is that if I just wanted a comfortable income, I could scale back dramatically, work 10 hours a week, and I’d be fine.
But my ambitions are bigger than that… so I keep working!
I’d love to hear more about your own goals, Rodney, and help you to reach them if I can. Shoot me an email and tell me what you’re up to?
Thanks Danny for featuring Jason’s post on here. I am so happy for you and where you have taken this business. Again, thank you for love!
For sure, Sonia, and thank you – it’s been too long.
Thank you so much for mentioning my blog again. Your shares always bring in a pretty decent traffic to my blog.
You’re very welcome, Farhan!
